DAY 1:Hanoi Arrival

Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. Time for relaxing after the long journey. Your Best Family Vietnam Holiday have started.

DAY 2:Explore Hanoi ( B, L )

In the morning, pick up from your hotel, we’ll start the day with a cyclo ride around the old quarter to see the daily local life of Hanoian. After that, you will head to Banana Island located on the edge of Red River. Immerse your soul into the green plantation which is very natural and rustic, you can also catch a glimpse of untouched fields of vegetables, banana gardens. Long Bien Bridge is the next stop in our morning, sitting on top of Hanoi’s Red River, connecting Long Bien – a pretty affluent area – to the heart of Hanoi, this Bridge is a witness, a dispensable part in Hanoi’s history. We’ll be back in the center of Hanoi and have lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon your trip continue with the Temple of Literature. The first university in Vietnam and then continue exploring Museum of Ethnology – the interesting museum in Hanoi where shows 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. It is the best way you can learn about Vietnam. Finally, enjoying the water puppet shows that is the unique performances, first appeared in the 11th century. In these shows, the daily life, culture and belief of Vietnamese people are described by puppets on water. The show usually integrates a traditional music performance as well. Then come back to your hotel.

DAY 3:Ninh Binh - Van Long ( B, L )

Meet your guide and driver in the morning and depart Hanoi bound to Ninh Binh Province. Known lovingly as “Halong Bay on land”, this stunning province boasts similar limestone karst topography, but rather than rising out of the sea, the karst formations rise out of emerald rice paddy fields and winding rivers. After a two and a half hour drive, arrive in Gia Vien District and swap your car for a bicycle. Then embark on a short cycling journey through paddy fields en-route to the nearby Van Long reservoir area. Along the way, stop at Mai Trung hamlet for an in-depth experience learning how locals here farm and tend to their rice. Follow the lead of your local host for seeding, putting down fertilizer, scooping water or harvesting, depending on the time of year.

Afterwards, cycle onward to a local family home, and get an up-close demonstration of traditional cooking using rice crackers or fried crab dishes. Lunch will be served at one of the village houses you will enjoy these local specialties along with another Vietnamese favourite – rice wine!

In the afternoon, reach Van Long wharf and set off on a short boat trip into the reservoir at Van Long Nature Reserve – the largest wetland in northern Vietnam. Float past poetic landscapes and rolling jungle hills that are perfect for photos, before heading back to Hanoi for arrival in the evening.

DAY 4:Hanoi – Ha Long Bay ( B, L, D )

After breakfast and check out, driver picks up and transfer to Ha Long Bay, listed as a World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty, known in Vietnamese as “Dragon descending to the sea”.

Upon arrival, the boat crew welcome you and check in then enjoy a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. You can also behold thousands of limestone islands and grottoes rising from the clear, emerald water.

Following break, depending on each cruise’s itinerary of the day, you ‘ll join some activities on boat to discover the beauty of the bay such as visit a cave, doing kayaking or enjoy swimming in the sea before getting back to the junk for relaxing and dinner.

DAY 5:Hanoi - Hoi An Relaxing with 60 mins body massage ( B, L )

You might start your second day in Ha Long Bay with an early tai-chi class or simply wake up and witness the amazing sunrise on the bay. Breakfast is served a bit later, with tea and bread while the vessels continue cruising through rock islands. After breakfast, a local guide takes you into the island’s thick jungle -break through forest canopy to the top of a limestone formation with superb summit views.

Get back to the boat check-out of your cabin and have lunch before docking leaving for Hai Phong/Hanoi for a short flight to Danang. Upon arrival you’ll be met by you guide who will transfer you to the coastal town of Hoi An –a drive of about 40 minutes. Hoi An is a restored 15th century fishing village recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Unlike many destinations in Vietnam, Hoi An has pedestrian streets that are ideal for leisurely strolling. The food here is particularly good -especially the tasty soup and noodle dishes!

Check-in then enjoy 60 minute body/foot massage at the hotel. Use the rest of your evening at your leisure, being sure to soak in some of the beautiful riverside ambiance with your family.

DAY 6:Hoi An Sightseeing and Lantern Making ( B )

Your tour guide will take you on a walk around Hoi An’s Old Town. The city was a major trading port from the 17th century onwards, and has various architectural influences from Europe, China and Vietnam. Today the city is being restored and looks exactly like it did over a century ago. The tour will take you to a historic house, the Hoi An Museum, colorful Chinese communal halls, the 400 year-old Japanese covered bridge…Wander through the Hoi An market which is filled with fresh local produces, sights, sounds and smells; visiting ancient merchants’ houses that remains architecture style and atmosphere from 17th. Wander the street stalls selling paintings, woodwork, ceramics, lanterns and much more.

Afterwards we will take you to visit a local lantern craftsman. Lanterns are the symbol of Vietnam tourism, and a big part of the local culture of Hoi An. You will be given an introduction about the history, shape, and color of the lanterns as well as the many stages of making them. You will have an opportunity to create your own lantern, decorate, pack and keep it as a souvenir from Hoi An.

Finish the tour, we will take you back to your hotel.

DAY 7:Hoi An – Cooking class or Cham Island (B, L)

COOKING CLASS

This trip will take you to join a cooking class and share your great experience. Leave your hotel at 8:00 am in the morning or 14:00 in the afternoon, you will concur the streets and start the day by cycling along the Thu Bon River and visit Hoian colorful market. Finish buying ingredients at the market, embark on a small boat to ride along the Thu Bon River for about 25 minutes to catch the cooking school on the other side of the river. You will be taught in an open-air pavilion beside the river by the experience chef.

After the cooking class, you will taste the dishes you prepared yourselves and we do hope you will know more of Vietnamese cuisines. Today’s activities end at around 14:30 PM for Morning Tour or 19:30 for Afternoon Tour and departure to your hotel.

CHAM ISLAND

In the morning, local tour guide picks up you at the hotel’s lobby, you will be transferred to Cua Dai harbor to register with the Border Police. Arrive in Bai Lang. The places to visit includes Cham Island Biosphere Reserve, Hai Tang Pagoda (built in Canh Hung period in 19th century), Old well (built by Cham people), the local market. You will have a chance to know about Cham Island’s culture – history, people ‘s daily lives.

Transfer to Bai Xep or Hon Tai to Snorkeling. You can see a lot of corals with many colors in a world Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO. Back to Bai Ong to have a shower with fresh water and enjoy a special lunch at the Island restaurant with fresh seafood and then relax in the cool wind. You are free to relax, walk, swim, take photos with the landscape of the sea and mountains. (If you are vegetarian or diet, please tell us, we will prepare delicious meal for you) .

14:00 Say goodbye to Cham Island and the boat take you back to mainland, your car is waiting to take you back to the hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 8:Hoi An Freeday ( B )

Spend the day exploring Hoi An at your own pace and do as you want like go to the beach, shopping or more touring. On your last evening in Hoi An, be sure to float lanterns along the river –it’s a local rite of passage that the whole family will be sure to enjoy!

Enjoy last night and overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 9:Hoi An - Da Nang ( B )

You are free all morning at your leisure until our guide and driver meets you at the hotel transfer to visit Marble Mountains on the way to Da Nang city.

Leave Hoi An to Da Nang city, you will visit Marble Mountains. It is a cluster of 5 different small mountains following 5 important elements of universe: Water, Fire, Wood, Metal & Earth where you can explore the natural caves. You will also visit a Buddhist Pagoda and enjoy stunning views from the mountains. Our guide will share extensive knowledge about the history and culture of Vietnam as well as Buddhism. Next, we will make our way to Son Tra Mountains where you will have the chance to pray at the Giant Lady Buddha Statue, the tallest in Viet Nam, and enjoy views of the ocean and the modern city in Da Nang. There are 17 floors in the statue, each floor has an altar with 21 Buddha statues which have different shapes, facial expressions and postures.

When the sun goes down, Da Nang is brought alive by bright colorful lights from Suspension & Dragon Bridges and buildings, cafes and restaurants, and you will have good chance to take photos of the Dragon Bridge and the Love Bridge. According to local beliefs, which date back to the Ly Dynasty, the Dragon is a significant symbol of power, nobility and good fortune and It becomes symbol of Da Nang city for tourism development Now. Later you will enjoy a wonderful dinner and experience Da Nang night life in the city center.

After Da Nang Night Life Tour, our driver will transfer you to check in the hotel.

DAY 10:Da Nang - HCMC ( B, D )

After breakfast and finish check out, your guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel for check in and relax before Nightlife tour.

17.30: You will meet the drivers on vintage Vespa at the hotel and enjoy the bustling of Saigon at the back of those fashion scooters while the night falls.

First, enjoy the local snack “dried beef” salad at a sidewalk of the park. This sidewalk “restaurant” has been being known for generations. Afterward, we drop of at the famous pancake restaurants street and sample this typical cake of southern Vietnam. At this point, you will probably be quite full, so let’s take a short sightseeing, zip around the city, feel the cool of the weather, take a look at our amazing nightlife and slowly fall in love with this city.

19.30: You will be continuing to a local restaurant enjoy the best local street, here comes the traditional Street BBQ in Vietnamese style. What can be more authentic with a mini oven on the table with grill different types of meatfood, glass of local beer and watching the nightlife passing by.

21.00: Next, we will end at Acoustic coffee & bar where the live music is played and sample the best local coffee or beers. After closing the tour, we will drive you back to your hotel around 10:00 PM.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 11:HCM - Cu Chi Tunnels ( B, L )

Pick up at your hotel and transfer about 75 km North-west of downtown Ho Chi Minh City to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. The driving time is approximately 2 hours.

Arrive in Cu Chi, we explore the tunnels which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and the Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges. Afterward, return to Saigon for lunch.

Back to your hotel for relax and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 12:HCMC - Can Tho ( B, L )

Meet our tour guide and driver for your transfer to Cai Be. Visit Cao Dai temple on route. On arrival, embark a small private boat for a cruise in a branch of the Mekong River. Experience the rhythm of life on the legendary Mekong River by visiting the canals lined with orchards.

Visiting craft workshops of rice popcorn, coconut caramel and rice cake…Go biking or walking on the village paths to discover the ancient and beautiful Phu Chau pagoda where the serenity reigns and meet the local people. Enjoy lunch in an open air restaurant where you can taste a famous local specialty. Finally, enjoy tasting delicious fruits while rowing a small rowboat in the canals, shaded by the fruit trees.

Continue your boat trip to Vinh Long and meet the driver at the pier for a transfer to Can Tho. Arrive in Can Tho in the late afternoon. Check in your hotel and relax. Enjoy free time on your own to discover the city located on the Mekong River side.

DAY 13:Cai Rang floating market - HCMC ( B )

Have breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the pier for a boat trip to visit Cai Rang floating market, the largest and most lively market in the Mekong Delta. There are so many colors and smells in the bubbling atmosphere where hundreds of sampans are filled with goods such as rice,

fruits, and craft products. Everything is shown to sell from the early morning. Have lunch at the restaurant and take a break.

Head back to An Binh Market which is full of fish, fruits and vegetables. Last, discover Binh Thuy Communal House – is one of the must-see destinations when you coming to Can Tho city. An ancient beauty far from 5km from the centre of Can Tho. The next destination is Binh Thuy ancient house. It’s considered to be the most beautiful and intact Mekong Delta with an architecture combining East-West but Vietnamese style has been captured with famous movies: The horizon of that place, Alluvial roads, Poor children, Debt life … Especially famous foreign film: L’amant (Lover) by French director JJ Annaud.

Transfer back to your hotel and arrive in the evening.

DAY 14:HCMC - Departure ( B )

After breakfast you are free at your leisure until our guide and driver meets you at the hotel lobby. Then transfer to the airport in Ho Chi Minh City for your onward flight and say goodbye Vietnam and your Best Family Vietnam Holiday.
